June 25th marks our first anniversary. It seems as though it was just yesterday that I put my trust in you, my clients, and decided to take the leap of faith to start mFORCE Capital. I can say that with all its challenges, late nights, and unanticipated turns and twists, it has been worth it. My team has successfully transitioned more than 90% of the assets I managed while at Merrill Lynch.
I am especially grateful for every one of you that made this transition with me. Your loyalty has made this dream a reality and I can’t say “Thank you” enough. I know the move to independence will benefit each of you along the way as we move through life together. The move to partnered independence opened a vast network of resources. It is through these partnerships and resources that we will continue to offer enhanced investment solutions in both challenging and stable market conditions.
To my new mFORCE family members, I am thrilled that you joined us in our inaugural year. We have so much to offer you and my team looks forward to growing alongside you.

He has spent the majority of his career working in the distribution effort for some of the largest and oldest asset management firms in the country. He most recently spent nearly nine years with MFS Investment Management working with financial advisors throughout the Metroplex and West Texas. From 1999-2013 Sam was with American Funds and spent the majority of that time in Phoenix, Arizona working with professionals throughout the entire state of Arizona. He has extensive experience working with advisors on portfolio construction techniques, analyzing and helping differentiate the vast mutual fund and separately managed account industry as well as being a keynote speaker on behalf of the organizations he has represented throughout the United States.
Sam joins the firm as a Wealth Management Advisor bringing his experience of consulting thousands of financial advisors over his career to mFORCE. mFORCE currently oversees $1.3B in assets and joins a seasoned team of other financial professionals to provide an unparalleled level of experience and expertise.
Sam is married to his wife Kalee and has four children, two daughters (Ryan and Margot) and two sons (Wes and Wade). He is an active member of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate, The Board of Trustees for COM Aquatics in Midland and various other organizations he donates his time to. He is a native of Midland, TX. and attended The University of Arkansas where he swam competitively for The Razorbacks. Sam enjoys swimming, biking, skiing and live music. Sam and Kalee reside in Fort Worth, TX.
